Kin

Terms of Service

New York Artificial Intelligence LLC, doing business as Kin

1. Who these terms cover

These terms govern the Kin website and Kin services that link to them, provided by New York Artificial Intelligence LLC (“Kin,” “we,” “us”).

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for any organization you represent. If you have a signed agreement with Kin, it controls where it conflicts with these terms.

2. The service and its limits

Kin builds and operates AI agents and software for businesses. Depending on your setup, Kin can organize records, process notes and messages, research people and companies, prepare drafts, and make authorized updates to connected systems. Features vary by customer.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. Review it before relying on it or sharing it. You remain responsible for hiring, compensation, and other consequential decisions. Do not use outputs as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Agree with us which actions run automatically and which need your review before enabling a workflow. Preparing a draft does not authorize sending it. Some external effects of an action cannot be undone.

3. Your account and connections

Protect your credentials and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Only connect accounts and supply data you are authorized to use. You are responsible for required notices and consents, and for following the terms of services you connect.

Revoking a connection stops future access through it. It does not delete information already imported. Contact us for deletion or an export.

4. Your data, our software, and feedback

You keep your rights in the records, messages, files, and other content you provide (“Customer Data”). You permit Kin to process Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, and support your service, follow your instructions, and meet legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Kin keeps its rights in its software and general tools. Ownership of custom work is set out in your signed agreement. If you offer feedback, we may use it to improve Kin without payment. That does not give us your Customer Data or permission to publish anything confidential.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Kin to break the law, discriminate unlawfully, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, send spam, impersonate others, introduce malicious code, bypass access controls, or access another customer’s data. Do not submit sensitive information your workflow does not need.

6. Fees and ending service

Fees, billing, renewal, and cancellation are set in your signed agreement or order. These terms do not create a subscription.

You may stop using Kin at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use, or a material breach, with notice when practicable.

7. Third parties and availability

Kin relies on hosting, AI, communications, and integration providers whose services may change or become unavailable. Unless your agreement says otherwise, Kin is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law.

8. Liability and disputes

Unless your signed agreement says otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, Kin is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to the fees you paid Kin in the 12 months before the claim.

New York law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in New York County, New York.

9. Changes and contact

We will give reasonable notice of material changes through the service or by email. Changes do not override a signed agreement.
