Privacy Policy

New York Artificial Intelligence LLC, doing business as Kin

1. Scope

This policy covers how New York Artificial Intelligence LLC, doing business as Kin, handles personal information through the Kin website and Kin services that link to it.

For website inquiries and our own accounts, Kin decides how information is used. For information we process for a customer, such as a recruiting firm’s candidate records, the customer decides and we follow its instructions.

2. Information we handle

3. Website messages and voice memos

If you write to us through the website’s contact form or send a voice memo, we receive your message or recording and your email address. We email it to Kin so we can reply, and store recordings privately. We do not add you to marketing lists because you wrote to us.

4. How we use information

To deliver the workflows a customer has agreed to, sign people in, prepare outputs, take authorized actions, respond to inquiries, fix problems, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell customer data, use it for advertising, share it with other customers, or use it to train general-purpose AI models.

5. AI and service providers

Relevant parts of your content are sent to AI model providers to transcribe, summarize, extract, draft, and research. We also use providers for hosting, database, sign-in, email, text messaging, connections, and web research. Currently these include OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to, Vercel, Neon, Clerk, Resend, Linq, Composio, and Exa. Each receives only what its function needs.

We share information with people you authorize and recipients you choose, such as through a profile link you send a client. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer under confidentiality obligations.

6. Security and location

Kin uses access controls and encrypts stored connection secrets. Authorized Kin staff can access customer information to provide support. No system is perfectly secure. Kin operates from the United States, and providers may process information in other countries.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep customer records while providing the service, and other records as long as their purpose or the law requires. Revoking a connection or closing an account does not by itself erase imported records, logs, or backups. Ask us and we will export or delete your data; backups expire on their own schedule.

8. Your choices and requests

Contact us to access, correct, export, or delete your information. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. If a recruiting firm provided your information, contact that firm first; if you contact us, we will coordinate with them. You do not need a Kin account to make a request.

9. Cookies, children, and changes

We use cookies to keep you signed in. The website counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or follow you across other sites. The website loads fonts from Google, which sends a request to Google. We do not use advertising cookies.

Kin is for adult business users. Contact us if you believe a child’s information was submitted.

We will give notice of material changes and will not use previously collected customer data for unrelated purposes because of an update.
